Myanmar migrant workers throughout Thailand got legal labor card for Thailand and the Myanmar temporary passport. Those who are infected HIV failed the blood test so that they are not qualified to get a labor card for Thailand, but send them back to Myanmar. The demand for the HIV medications in Myanmar is much higher the free supply of HIV medication in Myanmar. So, they are back to Myanmar to end of their lives without any chance to get HIV medication. HIV infected people desperately need a job much more than a normal healthy person because they must earn money not only for the survival of their lives but also to pay for the HIV medications. Authorities do not understand that or do not have a knowledge to help them, but to boycott them or drive out to their mother country. Drive out HIV infected employees from the job is the same like to KILL them.
HIV medication is very costly that people can hardly afford to buy for their own use. HIV medication can hardly find in the local market. The HIV patients need instructions from the Physician for which kind of HIV medications are suitable for that particular patient.
In Myanmar, there may have no doctor who specialize in HIV. So, Myanmar needs many foreign HIV specialist doctors to give the treatments to local HIV patients and the authorities need to send many local doctors to foreign countries to study for HIV decease.
In Myanmar, many NGOs, Global fund, 3D fund, etc provide HIV medications and other things, but Myanmar government provides fund on HIV medications and treatment is NOTHING compared to those NGOs and INGOs. Although there is a Global fund to give free supply of HIV medications to the infected people in Myanmar, many infected people still lack of HIV medications. They have no other choice, but to die.
